All Breed Database - Whitefield King Duncan

Duncan has a superb temperament and is a real gentleman.  He runs with his mares in 35 acres of moorland at the Wester Ellister end of the farm.

He's a little under 14 hands with lovely straight paces and light action which he passes on to his progeny, along with his short cannons, aristocratic head and super neck.  Above all, Duncan has fantastic presence.

Below is Duncan in younger days while sporting his long mane.

While I love the so called "traditional" Highland pony, I'd like to produce Highlands specifically for riding - with super paces and presence - perhaps especially suited to dressage.

By using Duncan for his elegance and paces, and then a more chunky "traditional" stallion, I hope to achieve my aim.  I'm hoping that Forester (below) or one of my new colts will be suitable for my purpose.

Below is Nashend Buzzard who was with us for a couple of seasons and bred some nice fillies.
