FOALS 2008

Dancer has now foaled (2nd June at 7.30 a.m.) another filly.  She is a very nice mare and I think would do better to a heavier stallion than Duncan.  She and her foal have therefore been sold.

Ballinton Lady foaled a lovely brown filly at 6.30 p.m. on 22nd May.  Unfortunately I don't think for one minute that she'll stay this gorgeous colour, and she is already fading to a light bay.

Still undecided on her name - but she's proving such a character and charmer that I think this is one we must keep.

Kayleigh overtook Ceilidh and foaled at midday on Saturday 3rd May - in full view of the webcam which I was watching from my office.  I dashed up to the farm to find the men, but it was all over by the time I'd driven the three miles up the road.

The prettiest little filly - seems to have been a mountain goat in a former life and was terrifying to watch her racing around the steep rocky bits of the hill.  She's been called Merry Dance.

Ceilidh foaled very early on Monday 5th May - a dun filly.

This is probably Ceilidh's best foal yet - a very sturdy filly.  Called Chanter.
